The RS 6/RS7 models feature a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. Unlike the conventional method of relying on ambient air for cooling, these models utilize their own cooling water circuit to cool the charged air. By reducing the temperature of the cooling water, the cooling performance of the charged air is improved. This is where the WAGNERTUNING additional water cooler provides its advantages.
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance water coolers feature a newly developed competition racing core that increases the radiator volume of the OEM water coolers by 65% in total. The carefully calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface maximizes heat transfer while allowing sufficient air flow for the surrounding components, such as the engine water cooler, to facilitate their own heat exchange. To ensure long-lasting cooling effectiveness, the water coolers are equipped with a heat-conductive anti-corrosion coating. The installation of the system is straightforward and hassle-free, with a plug-and-play design, and an installation instruction is included for guidance.
