Описание

Product Description

Lowering the temperature of the charged air and keeping it cool benefits the performance and reliability of the engine. The B48 and B58 engines and their charge air coolers require a different type of upgrade than you might be used to. The charge air cooler in the B48 and B58 engines cools the air via its own water circuit, which is further cooled by a radiator/heat exchanger using ambient airflow. This system maintains a lower air temperature for a longer period compared to an air-to-air intercooler; however, once the water circuit is heated, it also takes a long time to cool down.

The Mosselman Heat Exchanger increases the radiator volume massively – from 7.70 Liters (OEM) to 17 Liters (Mosselman). This enhancement results in better and more consistent performance by keeping the temperatures lower for longer and cooling down faster when the system heats up.

The Mosselman Heat Exchanger is Plug & Play, meaning no modifications are required to install it into the car.
