B48 Charge Pipe

For maximum effect, the FTP Charge Pipe increases flow and improves the reliability of your BMW B48/B46 engine. The aluminum pipe replaces the brittle factory plastic pipe, which often fails under increased boost pressure. The larger pipe diameter reduces turbulence and maximizes airflow into the engine.

B48 Intake Pipe

The FTP Intake Pipe replaces the factory hose between the air filter and turbo. Unlike the OEM hose, it will not expand under boost. The system eliminates the OEM sound chamber, resulting in improved turbo response as well as stronger mid-range and top-end power.

Dyno Test

After dyno testing:

• OEM: 253 HP, 316.3 lb.ft
• FTP: 268 HP, 320.7 lb.ft

The FTP B48 Charge Pipe & Intake Pipe package kit adds up to +14.8 HP.

This test was conducted with the original air filter.
