The CSF by PWR BMW S58 "Level-Up" Charge-Air-Cooler Manifold is the ultimate cooling solution for the S58 engine. With an ultra-strong CNC Billet construction, it replaces the weak factory plastic tanks that are prone to failure under high boost (typically failing around 30-35 PSI). Built in partnership with PWR, a tier-1 OEM and professional motorsports cooling system manufacturer, this manifold features a custom-spec, air-to-water bar/plate core designed to handle extreme boost pressures (45+ PSI) while maximizing thermal transfer.
Product Details & Core Construction
Because of the delicate and thin material used in the manufacturing of these cores, they are painstakingly slow to build to aero-space level specifications. The core features a rolled fin measuring 2.43mm tall with an air-side thickness of 0.08mm. The high-density fins (28 FPI on the air side, 26 FPI on the water side) allow for a massive increase in surface area contact.
The system also utilizes a CSF Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer made from KYLEX. This acts as a perfect gasket between the cylinder head and the manifold, creating a flawless seal (using OEM O-rings) while resisting heat soak.
