AKRAPOVIC E-BM/T/17 Link Pipe Set Evolution (Titanium) for BMW M5 (G90 / G99) OPF / GPF

Constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium, this set has been developed to be combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust and increase performance. The X-connection, allowing gases from both sides of the engine to mix in a unique symphony, is cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The set delivers a weight reduction of 72.6% (19.56 kg) compared to the standard stock part. When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system, power gains of 8.5 kW (11.5 hp) at 6,150 rpm and torque increases of 15.6 Nm at 2,550 rpm have been achieved when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust.

The acoustic feedback to the driver and passengers, the sound level, and the content evolve through the rpm and load, while enjoyable backfires accompany downshifts and a rich and comfortable sound is produced when cruising.

When installing the Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential “check engine light” warning signals. With the use of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
